Kawista (Limonia acidissima syn), Stone Fruit That Is Not Popular Fruit

While I was passing through Probolinggo city to Banyuwangi, I suddenly remembered the  kawista. Fruit  hildhood that I often encounter in the grandmother's house on the coast north. When I get there  kawista often treated fruit. We used to eat it straight or make a drink by adding warm water and sugar to taste. I going to all me to re-fresh taste and enjoy it. Unfortunately, kawista trees had been felled at grandma's house since I was  in elementary school. Hopefully , when going home later I wish I could find it again .

Kawista or kawis (Limonia acidissima syn. Feroniali monia) also known as the Indian  Woodapple or elephant Apple is a close relative of teenagers and still included in the tribe- orange (Rutaceae). Judging from his appearance the fruit is not very interesting. The skin is very hard as a stone fruit, fruit is brownish to black, even looks like a rotten fruit. Fruit pulp mixed with seed and fruit fibers. However this fruit has a flavor of cash and strong, sour taste fresh. Good fruit is fruit that has fallen naturally from trees and are generally solid black.

"He's grow for you the rain water that plants olives anddates and grapes and all kinds of fruits. Verily in this isreally no sign of (the power of God) for people who reflect". (Surat An Nahl [16]: 11)
